Hello again!

I'm back!!!! What an exhausting last few weeks. I'm going to work my way back into posting more often. I am so excited to be getting settled in and hope to have more time with my camera. Fun, fun. Thanks Mom for the nudge to get back to my blog! :)

Moving...

Just wanted to let you all know that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I am still getting my camera out (although not as much as I'd like) and will be back to my blog as soon as I can. My family is in the process of moving to Iowa. The move, combined with the continuous job of motherhood, has meant that life is crazy busy right now. I promise I will be back though so please check back.

What a trip!

Thank you soooo much for everything you guys did to make our family vacation so wonderful. Everything was set up so well for us, the boys had a blast, we did all sorts of memorable things, I could go on and on. Thank you!!!

A busy day for us. Dinosaur Park in the morning and Mount Rushmore in the afternoon.

Mr. C would not go to bed so I decided to make the most if it and we headed outside with my camera and enjoyed the beautiful evening.

1880's Town

Day 2 of our adventure. A little less driving. Visited the 1880's Town.

Badlands

Then did the drive through the Badlands. Tried to do a little climbing and hiking, but it was pretty hot. The boys were all tuckered out for the last hour of the driving.

Corn Palace

Day 1 of our great adventure. Lots of driving. We visited the world's one and only corn palace today. Here is Mr. C as an ear of corn.

My Mom is darn near a saint to agree to travel with me and my three boys any distance in the car, let alone on a big road trip. And have us stay at her house the night before and the night after the trip. AND still be willing to do it all over again a week and a half later on an even longer trip (more on that in the future). Y0u are amazing, Mom! Thanks for loving us so much and being so willing to be a part of our crazy existence right now. We love you and miss you and look forward to our next grand adventure.

Thank you guys so much for a fantastic trip. We had so much fun and miss you terribly. From the best ever margaritas to the creative cardboard window solution to the "I'm not doing anything" meltdowns it was a visit full of wonderful memories and lots of great time spent with you. Good Morning

I get tears in my eyes when I think about how fast the boys are all growing up. I love to see them growing and learning and maturing, but I know I will miss these baby days. This photo really captures who my sweet Mr. C is right now.
