Mr. C really got into Halloween this year. He walked quite a bit on his own and held out his pumpkin for candy and everything. He's 17 months old and growing up fast.

Engaged

A few weekends ago I had the privilege to spend the morning photographing this amazing couple. They are so in love with each other and looking forward to their upcoming wedding.

4 year old

Mr. C turned 4 in August and with the move I never got 4 year old photos of him that I was happy with. A month later in the new place we did a photo session and it went great. He was in a good mood and actually wanted his photo taken. :) This is one of my favorites.

My flowers (a few more)

These are the last photos I took of my flowers at our MN house. Whenever I had a hard day and needed a pick me up I would go out and walk in my flowers. It was such a calming thing. Today was a day that I could have used a walk in my flowers. Why? Everything and nothing. Lots of little things all adding up I guess. And behind it all is the fact that I had to say goodbye to the people and places I loved in MN. It is hard to say goodbye. I am convinced that this move is a good thing (the always optimist in me), but it doesn't and hasn't made it any easier to say goodbye. To my friends in MN, I miss you.

Hello again!

I'm back!!!! What an exhausting last few weeks. I'm going to work my way back into posting more often. I am so excited to be getting settled in and hope to have more time with my camera. Fun, fun. Thanks Mom for the nudge to get back to my blog! :)

Moving...

Just wanted to let you all know that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I am still getting my camera out (although not as much as I'd like) and will be back to my blog as soon as I can. My family is in the process of moving to Iowa. The move, combined with the continuous job of motherhood, has meant that life is crazy busy right now. I promise I will be back though so please check back.

What a trip!
